they say there's so much more to life
i'm not so sure it's true
i wish it would all just go away
and i could just be through
i'm sick of all these hypocrites
and all this criticism
i'm ready to let go of life
and be left as just a vision
but i think of the one i truly love
and realize i could never do it
i hope one day he'll understand just what he means to me
but before i go i want you to know you're now just a memory
things should've been different
you could've saved a life
if only you had listened
but now i'm gone, a memory
just barely in you're mind
maybe in another life i'll catch you from behind
we'll fall in love all over again
and then you'll leave me alone
to rot again and bury myself
deep within the stone
