Finding Reason

Looking down at my feet,

Wondering

"Why?"

When time finally came to rest,

I am put to my final test.

She sits there patiently waiting,

As I gentley gaze into her eyes.

I think to my self...

That I know why.

Hesitantly looking into his eyes,

 I see, he looks at me with such trust.

I look down, wondering

"Am I really deserving?"

Managing to regain confidence,

Softly, mine trailed back towards his,

Thinking to my self...

I know why.

She sees her world,

And he his.

Hand in hand,

As time slowly began to redefine its self,

We both managed to say

"I love you."
