Make me a bird dear god..I want to fly away, Im tired of this dreaded soul..This vision of grey. I want to spread my wings, And soar higher than the clouds..I want to land on the highest building, standing ever so proud. I want to look down at the world, from the far ground below, I want to fly over the rain forests..To watch the wildlife grow. I need to feel the wind, brushing against my wings..I need to follow the oceans and the rivers, The small flowing springs. I have find my spot in the world.. It really doesnt matter where, Just some place i can get away..from everyone who never cared. Please god make me a bird..who can easily find true love, not an eagle or a canary..but a peacful white dove. Ill fly with grace..with passion..with devotion..I will fly higher than anyone ever could..Enjoying every last motion. Thank you god..For setting me free..Youve made me everything..Ive always wanted to be..Im in the clouds ever so high..No reason to be scared..No reason to cry..<3 |
