The Divorce

This is my place, my escape away from these reminders of my words and your mistakes. My tears could fill your heart up and spill over the edges, more so than these memories full of cob webs and spiders. Either let me go or take me with you to swim and drown or fly and fall- it's better than suffocating or is it asphyxiating? Doesn't matter, you're not breathing and I feel as if I have been alone for so long. I don't understand why you've taken off that wedding ring but you put me in the drawer to be forgotten.
