Sometimes dreams come to a halt
Oh, how cruel life can be
You suddenly wake up, cringing at the thought
Quickly throwing your hopes away
Fighting to hold on longer
Love slips through your grip
Surviving now becoming harder
Your soul, seemingly ripped
The life you had chosen
His love, no longer there
Taking the only thing that ever mattered
Tearing you apart, this just isn't fair
Deciding forever had ended
Knowing he would never come back
Your heart, not worth mending
Screaming, this breath will be your last
