I don't want you to see the real me
the girl who crys herself to sleep
and suffers from the pain
with a fake smile that she can't keep
you'll see more than you want
more than you'll ever know
a life of heartbreak and hurt
im afraid if you do, then you'll go
i never meant for this to happen,
to go and fall for you
i knew it was just too much
im sorry, but lie is something i cannot do
theres more here than what you see
not an average broken heart
but shattered dreams, a tainted soul
a life thats falling apart
If you'll stay and see
stay and wipe away her tears
you may be the one who turns her around
and erases all the years
