Writhing in sorrow
Fearing the depth
The horrible truth
Of this new found fate
You'd stay here forever
This life, dreading to face
The pain of tomorrow
Of every single day
They're starting to notice
You've saw them stare
Questioning your answers
Your trying so hard to bare
Another shock of pain
You fall into the floor
Wanting to start again
And not have to do this anymore
Clutching your chest
You fall with a gasp
Begging God to tell you
How much longer this will last
Peering through soaked lashes
Eyes so bitter and sad
Staring at all that's happened
At a story so quickly gone bad
