Sitting here, pretending I'm not alone

Holding myself together in your chair

Tomorrow it'll be a week since you've gone

I look up to the sky, knowing your up there

 

Daddy, it happened too soon

It shouldn't have been you

 

God took you away

I need you here, with me to stay

 

Cause nothing feels like home

My pain, horribly shown

 

I'm trying my best to hold it together

Wishing you were here, not up there

 

So I'll cry tonight

For everything I won't get to share with you

 

These tears won't stop falling

Your name, I suddenly start calling

 

If your hearing me tonight

Daddy, I'm still your little girl

 

Tell God he gained the best angel

When he brought my Daddy up there
