I've been through it all

Dealt with everything, large and small

 

My life has been torn apart

The whole deal, thorough broken heart

 

I've had to pick up the pieces

A normal childhood, destroyed with changes

 

I've had my share of best friends

Each one, a bittersweet end

 

But through every bump and bruise

I've taught myself how to lose

 

To get back up and try again

Through it all, that's how it's always been

 

Every heartbreak along with its tears

Every regret of wasted years

 

They've all led me here

To those who truly care

 

And though things aren't the best

I'll still look forward to the rest

 

Cause I've got those who love me

And truthfully, that's all I'll ever need
