A simple trip to walmart
Ordinary, nothing new
A simple glance, it stole your heart
Who would have knew?
You keep walking
A million unknowns running through your head
Who is this boy, is he still staring?
You steal another look, heart pounding in your chest
Stopping, you can't keep going
What is it that's keeping you here?
You hold your breath, slowly turing
The boy of your dreams, standing right there
Wondering if he feels it too
You stand still, in utter awe
Stepping closer to you
Impossible for you to move at all
As he reaches up to touch your face
You close your eyes, disbelieving
He whisperes in your ear, "This was fate"
You've already fallen, how is this happening?
Planting a kiss atop your cheek
Clouding your mind, he grabs your hands
Opening his mouth, breath so sweet
Promising you'll meet again
