Your screams, no one hears
Relentless muffled cries
The reason for all these tears
Fading, a hurtful spite
Alone, it's getting dark
His memory, paining you to remember
He promised he'd never part
Maybe you'll stay here forever
Trying to find the oxygen
Some way to gain the strength
Stay alive, you must for him
Impossibly promised, you'd somehow stay safe
Curled up, unmoving
Tangled in a tragic daze
You hear them calling
Over and over, screaming your name
Maybe you don't want to be found
The life you'd chosen, ripped from your hands
The thought, terrorizingly profound
Your body drifting into unconsciousness
