Running From Styrofoam

Views (87) Other Created on 1-17-07 Flag

Snow fell, like gobs of styrofoam through the air.

It fell so quick that it covered your thin black hair.

The cold burned, like heat upon my your skin.

Who would have known, past your fake annoying grin?

Lies were told, like a baby talks with no means.

You have taught me now, that nothing is ever what it seems.

Times have changed, like a grandmother's youth.

My thoughts at the time, could be considered uncouth.

Bodies grow cold,  like a personless house.

Of course, you wouldn't know, you took  the path of a louse.

Emotions are always turning,  like that of the seasons.

Legacys filled with nothing but worthless lies, and reasons.

Death is always immenant, like the sun will always rise.

Eventually, everyone in this world, and around us dies.

Life is always running, like the beat of a new heart.

Don't stop what is so beautiful, look forward...be smart.
