Willow Tree
Please watch your head, and here take a pillow.
Rest for a while, here underneath our willow.
Gone are the days of rusted bike spokes.
Rising arguements that we here from our folks.
Here are the days of long grass days.
Burning up foreheads from the sun's hot rays.
Let go of your fears, cut the puppet strings.
Listen to your soul as it sings, and sings.
Please don't get up just sit here and relax
Here there are no phones, no printer, no fax.
I wish we could live here instead of our homes.
We can live like the olden days, like those little knomes.
As I sit here, and I am watching you sleep.
Don't worry, I won't wake you, you won't hear a peep.
I feel this feeling so deep , and inside of me.
Sitting here watching you , under our willow tree.
