I have only one true friend. All the others mean nothing compared to her. She comforts me when I’m sad, protects me when in danger, is happy for my achievements, and is proud of the person I have become. I share all of my secrets with her. She is the only one who has helped me through all of my trial and tribulations. She and I have had the most wonderful times together playing pretend and telling her life stories. She and I are so much alike that sometimes we share the same feelings. It’s not that I love more than my brother: it’s that I can’t trust my bother with the things I entrust with her. It’s not that I love her more than my dad; it’s that we are closer. He is always working so I can’t develop the kind of relationship that she and I have accomplished. I’ll always love her. I’m glad I have her as my best and truest friend. The only one who is a better and truer friend to me is God.
