One Day I Will be Waving and not Drownin |
Please Remain Seated
Please Remain Seated
You have got your thing and I've got mine.
We share an intersecting small fragment of time.
It's not a philosophy of jealousy or anti-social democracy.
It's the wild games of the untamed and the strange ways decisions are made.
No wicked intentions just something I don't often mention
an extension of an electrocution coming from within this heart.
Shock treatment for the beaten.
Please remain seated this is not a prose about anyone special.
A cliche thing for this age.
I'm in a tragic sin of a dividend that I cannot suffice for.
What is the exact price for it anyway?
Look both ways is what they say,
and when you do it's no longer okay, its hearsay and rumorous decay that you are fighting for.
Savage and hungry and lingering in confusion's tunnel of doubt.
A whine a pout, a quick shout out and kisses to go around.
I am so blind and out of time it is no wondor I can't see the line
Between the present and the past.
Either way it won't last.
It doesn't matter in the end.
We all shatter like dreams and glass.
Cut away at these curtains of misconception
like I cut the "American values" class.
I've got my thing and you've got yours.
We share the same lingering stinging history of sores.
