In the darkness of my mind
There's a little light that shows
Whenever my world's spiraling down
I know there's someone that knows
Exactly what i feel
Cause they feel it too
The troubles that we face
To us are nothing new
We go day to day
bearing our sorrow
The Shadows of the world
Praying for a better tommorrow
Though we know it'll never come
We pray and hope it will
So all will live in peace
the one we wish will fill
The chasm in our beings
That no one can see
but we feel it all
And we WILL be free
Of the pain in the world
and the pain in our heart
Trying hard to make it right
So we may get a fresh start
