Emptiness

Why is it, when your depressed,

For so long,

Then you get what you want,

But it just felt wrong.

Not the wonderous feeling,

You were expecting while dreaming.

A hollowness sweeps over you,

Taking your emotions,

And making them blue.

You no longer know what to do.

It tears,

And some people just can't bear it.

Maybe you are lonely with no one to hold.

Or maybe a dad,

Yells the most bitter and cold.

Maybe you lost that someone,

The one you held all the way to dawn.

Life becomes harder and harder.

Leaving us only to explain the unknown.

And try to predict our lives on our own.

If only there was that guide,

Who was always full of pride.

And helped you through the rough,

and tough happenings.

I guess we are left at a simple point in life.

Where everything ceases to exist,

Full of pain and strife.
