It's Over
It's strange how something so good can end up so bad,
like a nice happy day that ends up being sad.
It's strange how someone you love can hurt you so,
because pain's still inside me, even if it doesn't show.
It's strange how your face makes me smile yet frown,
making my feelings go around, upside-down.
It's strange how such little words can make me feel sober,
just two little words, the terrible, "It's over."
