Reflect Me
The mirror reflects
Only what you don’t want to see
It has no depth, no emotion
It does not show your personality
The mirror stares
It holds your gaze
Taunting your existence
Dulling your soul gray
The mirror destroys
It cuts your self-esteem deep
Until for perfection you shallowly beg
For this perfection you weep
The mirror lies
It only shows you how you truly feel
Humble or insecure
What does your mirror reveal?
