Nothing behind my eyes

Nothing lies beyond my eyes,

I'm empty and vacant.

I hear no whispers nor your cries.

I know I am taken.

With my dull colorless eyes I can see the light.

I try so hard to be free.

As day turns to night,

everything's lost within me.

As I take my flight,

I know I can never look back.

The light is so bright,

and now everything is black.
