If I Could, If You Would |
Unsure Confidence
Unsure ConfidenceAs we walk down the isle of certainty,We can’t help but turn into the pews of choice,And in the choice we always become unsure,But the certainty still lingers, and the pews become the isle,You will never again know your old certainty,But don’t retrace your steps, say on the path you choose,Or your certainty will waver and all will see,That your exterior confidence is always unsure,And at the end as you die in the cavernous shack,That you feel you know and have known forever,Stand back and look at the pews of all lives,They’re not so different now are they?
