I know that for me these feelings are rare.

 

And despite all the sweet memories we share;

 

You can never know that for you alone I care.

 

So I suppress my emotions leaving only despair.

 

I’m trapped inside, terrified to speak my mind.

 

Trapped and afraid of being ridiculed and denied.

 

You wave at me as you pass me by everyday.

 

But never know why I just turn and run away.

 

I’m sorry I know my actions are hurting you.

 

And an explanation is probably long overdue.

 

But I cannot face up to my concealed crime.

I can only hope my desire will fade in time
