When your other life is too much to bear,
Hide in a dream world built on your lie.
Replace fake friends who are never there.
Let truth, reality and reason pass you by.
When you’re not enough, make a new self.
Send all of you’re odious memories away.
Consign them all to your uppermost shelf.
In dream world tomorrow’s a clear day.
Use your deception and try to remain strong.
In reality you would be mocked and scorned.
While in dream world it’s difficult to go wrong.
I still feel you ought to be forewarned:
Beware living in a world built on just lies.
For if the truth gets out then everything dies
