Your a friend that is strong and true
Compared to you others don't rate.
You disassembled the time bomb.
The time bomb of my consuming hate.
With your help I found my middle road.
You opened for me an escape, a door.
You plowed deep into my darkness.
And found compassion sleeping at my core.
When my life was but a means to an end.
When faith was lost and hopes were zero.
I found what I've always needed in you.
I found in you my own, personal hero.
