Corruption

Emotions swirl in quicksand,
pulled under in an instant.
Veins freeze over,
filled with blood run cold.

Darkness encloses us,
the light is lost to us.
Inhumainty surronds us,
acts of hared all around.

Tempers rising, corruptions creeping in.
The taint lies just beneath the skin.

Invisable from afar,
past the smiling persona.
True selfs lie dormant,
rebellion taking hold.

All around us but
on a differnt spectrum.
Oblivous to the hypocracy
consuming our world.

Tempers rising, corruptions sinking in.
Till we are human in appearence alone.

Uncaring/unconcerned.
Will is bending, heart is breaking.
Homocide without remorse,
suicide without regret.

Compasion fails us,
our brothers betray us.
Numbness is spreading,
sympathy leaves us.

Panics spreading, corruptions creeping in.
Our biggest threat is what lies within.

We are what we fear most,
what we seek to eradicate.
We are the victim of our own hate,
no longer can we love.

Denying our own contamination
as we write our own end.
