Listen and nod
to thier desperate lies.
The truth will ckoke
them soon enough.
Even though it feels
like your sitting on tacs.
Keep smiling at thier jokes
and you'll get the last laugh.
Keep your best facade forward,
even as they stab you in the back.
Pretend to buy into
thier stupid disguise.
And they will never
see through yours.
Keep to the shade
act like your free.
And they will never
guess that your chained.
Keep your best facade forward,
enduring the internal hurt.

I like all your poems. But I would like to see you use a different writing style the way you write all of your poems seems to be a bit similar I would like to see something new. If not, I will still read :). |
