In the name of Dreams I concede to the insides,

Affirming that I have not the stomach to watch it fade,

Minding the ties and keeping the frame,

I will never settle for less,

Nor could I dare forget my past sins,

Letting time age on without contest,

Overcastting my wants and needs,

Variables if you will,

Exceptions that I wish I had been strong enough to defy,

Water under the bridge, as far as I am concerned,

Ideals would have it now be my time,

That it is my turn to exact a chance,

However bold, prosperous, or even temporary,

Yesterdays revealed the constants,

Overreaching I might have once felt,

Until now, as I’ve learned that I am worthy,

Let me have a chance to grow,

Enter a place where I can split my cage wide open,

Cutting the bones down the middle,
