CRMH
Could you pull it out, the knife that’s lodged there in my back?
Might you have seen the one who planted the seed on its edge,
A seed of pain that sprouts through me, rotting, eating, breaking asunder,
As I am consumed from inside out in a bloody mess of flesh and frenzy,
Movement within is slow during it’s time of growth,
Killing simply the pride I try to bear,
Everything is sacrifice in time as it swells,
Emptiness is the wake of its magic,
Read the stories they teach you in school,
Horrors about the seeds of destruction reborn,
As some might be just stories,
Ears should be not off to the lesson,
Radio dials to the right now,
Add volume to the lesson taught with insufficient strength,
Again think hard to learn the value,
Detoxify your falsely secure conceptions,
Provide no impulses to fuel the fear,
Life is only a convention,
Immortality a curse most unpleasant,
In desire for little more than freedom within a false sense of duty,
Slaves ask only for this curse worthy of praise only in the realm of,
Nightmares of unimaginable pleasurable,
Torment as the body is broken against the stone walls of this labyrinth,
Evermore with time and emotional confines that draw out,
Stress of loss as the lives of lovers taken from the grasp of a welcome arm,
Strangers will do that to you…
