Like the Day,
I shall return,
To brightness,
To warmth,
To comfort,
Make efforts to be,
On good terms,
With all those who find themselves in need of me,
Like the Day,
I shall end,
Make way for another,
And part your company,
Break your fun,
And take your light,
Not again,
Till I am forced to return and face you,
Like the Day,
I am in harmony,
Existing some,
Vanishing some,
Being around only when I’m mean to,
Taking your light,
Or giving it,
Either way I am always coming back
