Like the Earth,
I’ve always been,
I’ll always be,
Steady and unwavering,
Constant changes,
On a minuscule scale,
Take what you need from me,
I am here to give what is needed to survive,
Like the Earth,
I have no home,
I am a home,
Granted the need,
And the desire,
How would you like,
To be taken for granted,
There will be an end far sooner than expected,
Like the Earth,
Everyone knows,
That I am here,
Yet few acknowledge,
Few speak to me,
They leave their marks,
Their scars upon my surface,
The traces will always remain in my memories.
