Dark memories gather as my dark red blood drips to the thirsty earth, I call your name while deaths shadow surrounds me, until my love falls upon cold eyes.
This is because of Him.
As the veil of eternity closes in, a blanket of sorts, to keep the elements at bay, I embrace my fate, it is my shelter, my escape from the pain.
This is because of Him...
Sorry that your life story unfolded with such left incomplete, sorry I had to lead a life into the final chapters, i didn’t mean for it to happen this way.
This is because of me.
I stand alone now, the room bare but a lone stool standing tall, until it falls. the rope taught, air an impossibility. I feel the shadow of death sinking in. This is because of me.
No one remains now, both left broken, graves full, hearts empty, death takes those with out the strength to forgive, to forgive the sinner or the sin, and life remains with the temptation and the tease, in truth…

i was helping a friend to get over a sudden memory attack about her mother (whom died a few years back) i showed her some of my writtings... and she mentioned having started a poem long ago... i asked her to finish it... she said she wouldn't know how, because she's a different person now... after about a half hour from wha was only the first stanza, we came up with this... |
