My Fairytale Ending
It seems our once upon a time
Was erased from your mind
My happily ever after feels weak
Your heartbeat used to sing me to sleep.
Now I'm right back in my tower
Endlessly counting the hours
As if my knight may return
It seems I've got so much to learn.
Just erase me from your storybook
Don't turn back for one last look
Forget all you ever ment to me
Put me in the cage which you once set me free.
Tear out the pages my heart wrote of you
For fairytale endings never come true
So return my story to the book shelf
I'd be much better off saving myself.
