 There's a connection she can't quite explain,
it is him whom she has to try to refrain.
Never has she actually had to hold herself back from a guy before,
there's something about him that makes her want more.
She wants more of his smile, more of his laugh and more of his touch,
it is his support that she has missed so much.
Everytime him and her fight,

What started out as a friendship grew into something so much more,

It hurts her to have to push him away,
but if she doesnt make it end it is him who will have to pay.
Something so strong could not last at this time,
she doesn't want to risk losing him to adolescent crime.
The crime of pointless fights or falling out of love,
it would end if "push came to shove".
Not wanting to lose what they share,
she pushes him away and they both find out "all love" isn't fair.
Fighting now to save whatever they still feel,
only proves that what they shared was real.
