A Piece of My Heart -Missing

  I think about you both and how you're not here,
my life's not the same since you're no longer near.
I can't see your smile or hear you laugh,
you have dissapeared down that long, bright path.
I remember the pain I felt when I heard you passed away,
I cried for so long and I still cry to this day.
The suffering has ended and you're no longer enduring any pain,
that is the only thing that keeps me sane.
Knowing that you're free from the pain and constant sickness,
it was hard enough to witness.
I just wish I could remember your touch and your smile,
it is those things I have missed for quite a while.
I can't wait to see you both again sometime,
thats when true happiness will surely be mine.
