Boiling Within

                            Day after day the fire continues to grow,

                       What's feeding the fire doesn't seam to show.

                            Hard to locate the base of the flame,

                      When so many things and people are to blame.

                      The heat is hot enough to melt away her heart,

                                  As this flame tears her apart.

                         Not knowing what happiness is anymore,

                            She wonders what's left to explore.

                      Angered by the past and hurt by the present,

                          The future doesn't appeal as pleasant.

                             A future wedding without a father,

       Due to all the apoligies he didn't even deliver ... too late now-                                        so  don't bother.

          She doesn't even want to attend his funeral or say a goodbye,

           Due to all the pain he's caused her with no explanation why.

                          The hardships of having to choose,

       Between the outcast and home- there's always something to lose.

                     Why does everything have to be so tough?

                       Eventually she's going to have enough.

                   How much does one person have to withstand?

                      Is a break from it all too much to demand?

                Her eyes clear of tears due to the numbness of life,

                      The flame has pierced her soul like a knife.

             Giving in to the flame because the heat is too intense,

                      She's burned alive in a space too dense.

                     Don't let the anger, the flame - defeat you,

          Or you'll be the next casket of ash buried under a sky so blue.
