Her Eyes Fade To Black

                                       the seclusion starts to occur.

                             No longer responding to certain things,

                              her eyes darkened with shaded rings.

                      Her body shuts down and she starts to give in,

                     giving into the darkness -giving into the sin.

                             Happy is what she wants to be,

              happiness is no longer an option as she begins to see.

              She begins to see how dark her world has become,

              noticing all the things that have made her numb.

                   Feeling sick because the pain is so strong,

                   not understanding what she did wrong.

                   Sitting in a dark room in seclusion,

                 happiness has become such a delusion.

             Not wanting people to see her in this state,

     she tells them to look away and let her deal with fate.

She needs to face her demons on her own,

or she'll remain in the darkness all alone.

Not wanting to bring the ones she loves into the dark,

she tells them to stay near  daylight's spark.

Wanting to find the light,

but all she sees is the dark pure night.

Her skin becomes deathly cold,

as the darkness takes its hold.

Her mind replaying everything that's gone wrong,

her heart singing its very sad song.

Being punished for what she's feeling,

makes her wonde what's life's meaning.

What's the point in being able to feel,

if you're punished for what you believe is real.

Scolded for sticking up for her soul,

her eyes grow as dark as coal.

Rage takes over her and the flames grow in her eyes,

this is the point of no compromise.

The demons have succesfully taken her away,

silenced with pain she has nothing to say.

People will look into her eyes and see how empty she is inside,

her eyes red from all the tears she's cried.

Screaming outlou but no one will hear,

darkened eyes that won't shed a tear.

Her eyes have faded to black,

sucked into the darkness there's no turning back.
