Fire |
Fire
Fire.
All consuming, all hating.
It makes itself at home, uninvited.
Its burning humour scolds,
Its scorching remarks crackle.
It erupts and decimates.
It leaves only ashes and twisted metal.
And bad memories.
It incinerates dreams,
And boils hopes.
It's angry, white-hot.
Killing with burning enthusiasm,
An inner flame.
And as I watch,
My life joins its embers and begins to smoulder.

| Great talent for descriptive writing and metaphor. I love how you give life to fire with your words. |
