2007

I've always heard that odd years are best
my mom told me that
But in my case, this one is not
In fact, it's the worst of all

It all started on January 2
my favorite aunt in the world died
i cried at her funeral thinking
my mom had lied

After that, i tried out for a band thing
i thought to myself, i'll be best in the state.
but that's not what happened at all
i felt the worst in the state, like i had no talent

A couple months passed
me thinking, nothing else is going to happen
i was totally wrong
the last thing i thought happened

the love of my life broke my heart
he said he had to
and that we were best off as friends
but he didn't understand that he was the one i wanted

i thought i wouldn't be able to function
to not go on in life
because the very next day
he made my heart go into peices

my friends were there throught it all
or some of them were
one inpeticular did something terrible
she was a backstabbing bitch

she said that i talked behind others backs
and that i smoked pot with others
but actually she was talking about someone else
herself and her mother

only one good thing happened so far in 2007
I have one friend that is the best
she is more awesome then the rest
she is my best friend forever

she helped me through death
she helped me through failer and heartbreak
she was also backstabbed like me
so we have more in common then you think

hopefully this year will get better
if not, then oh well
i've got plans on my mind
so maybe 2007 will be alright
