Looking past the silver curtain
All you see is black
Into a darkened, murky land
A vision of gloom
Not caressed by the warming wind
You must move ahead
Make certain you don't fall behind
Your steps will surely disappear
"Guard them! Guard them, keep careful watch...
or they will slip away."
Out into the haunting shadows
Never to return
A long and windy path I tread
"Listen to me now.
Turn back before all time is up."
