Maybe it's just me:
Maybe I'm blind and cannot see
My heart is breaking,
Torn and aching...
But who would care?
I know they hope,
But they wouldn't cope
I know they pray,
But couldn't they help some other way?
It hurts more
Than any slam shut door
Tell me how to feel...
Coz I have a heart of steel.

yeah i also disagree with escape...poety should make u think. it should make u feel as well. i think this is well written....it's no maya angelou but no one on this site comes close to that anyway. poetry is so diverse. you keep doing what u are doing ok. if u want to expirement that is fine too. but ignore escape. constructive critisiczm *sp is fine and dandy but that was far from it. it's as i told u before bumpikin ok? |

Peotry is no fun if it makes you think too much. This one seem better than the first two, but you need lots more practice. An advanced knowledge of english will help. |
