Floating on air, I'm flying along
My head in the clouds, my voice creates song
Years of denial; so wrong all along
I asked him to wait; he waited so long
A year and a half, he waited for me
A year and a half, it took me to see
The girl grew up in that year and a half
The boy was patient, he missed her laugh
A year and a half, waiting to let go
Leave your fears behind, like there's no tomorrow
