My Poems
Breaking Point
Don't tremble, love; my darling dear
You are safe, so don't you fear
The darkness will not get you here
Though saviour or no remains unclear.
A drop from a waterfall
spinning through space
cathches my eye;
reflects my face.
Glistening air
mossy crick rocks;
silence interrupted
by the screeches of hawks.
Read me your story, love,
and sing me a song.
I won't judge you, now,
or tell you you're wrong.
But you will judge my work,
and this is what's true;
you're only here, love,
'cause the main character's you.
Swallowing sadness
sipping the pain;
fighting off madness;
it's hard to stay sane.
I'm surprised at you, lovely.
You've finally come.
I'm glad you can visit.
Oh, won't this be fun?
You're harsh.
Your voice.
Can't stand it.
Just go.
Scream and Cry
Kick and Bellow
You are not
a happy fellow.
Shattering dishes
and dreams
Breaking the windows
and me...
Now I'm free from this tyranny
I've escaped from the King
of the Land of all Misery
and free, I can sing.
I'll whistle you a little tune
I'll sing you a melody.
We'll twine in and out the notes
and hammer the piano keys.
High octave, low;
Who will care, or know?
When all of the bars go whizzing by
I'll end up more drunk than you were.
I'm trembling, love, my darling dear;
I feel unsafe; I'm blind with fear.
I feel the dark around draw near!
Saviour or no, I'm staying here.
