New and Old, hand in hand, they walk side by side. But gentle stride, the pace they walk, in actions do they hide. Cower in Simplicity, Repetition and Demeanor, So self-degrading, humiliating, undignified and shameful. Figured out. Undisclosed. Unmentioned, and discreet. Difficult confusion, and pride that’s at no meet. Peak of sadness, peak of anger, Forgiveness that’s degrading. Break my will, my pride, my stammer. My hesitation to do what’s right. Your honor is greater than my own. And unlike my 6 foot deep grave beneath the dirt your wisdom takes a flight.
