I salute,

To those who never posed,

To those who were mute.

People point and bicker,

Because you are quiet,

They talk about you,

You feel like starting a riot!

Against  people only skin deep,

They continue to stare,

You think differently,

And look back with a burning glare!

I salute thee,

Who wore what yee want,

Who hated the preps,

Who hated the taunts.

I'm glad you thought,

Differently about life,

Who were anti-prep,

And stayed away from the knife.

You always knew you did not fit in,

You weren't outgoing,

Or stupid like her or him!

Once again I salute,

those who were considerd,

silent quiet freak,

or mute!
