I had that dream once
That he forgot
That he hated my mom.
He took me fishing
And read me a book
Of all the wonderful things
About boys
Fathers love.

This is really sad, unfortunate maybe. I truly hope that the father stays in your son's life regardless of what went/goes on b/ween the two of you. The last three lines just 'bout made me cry-father/son relationships are precious, and you said it all w/ those 3 lines. Nice job on the poem, I really like it! |
