A Night at the Opera

Views (32) Joy Created on 4-1-08 Flag

Vocal range is far and wide
Binoculars are a must
The story’s told
Through song and dance

Some people find it boring
But others find it gold
Like that special sunset
On the perfect night

Oh the woes of a young girl
Kidnapped at the birth
Searching for a place
Where she feels at home

Eighteen long years
Have come and gone
She still thinks she’s far away
But really she’s oh so close

Many try to stop her
But others help her along
In the end she finds her way
And a place to call home

The story comes to a close
An eruption of applause
As the crowd is full of joy
It’s another happy ending

The actors all come forward
And all take one last bow
The audience goes home happy
The night was enjoyable

After a wonderful night
Of woe and happiness
At the beauty
Of the opera
