A World Of Nonsense

Views (23) Other Created on 3-9-08 Flag

My coach says, “Never give up,”
Even when I yellowed to the class then blued at the kids,
Even when the pencil was gold, light, and too fragile to touch.

The leaves are as gold as a block of stone,
The camel smells like a lion roaring loudly,
And the yellow jelly beans jump among the big red flowers.

“The people need more clothes on.”
The light hand lay next to the dark hand,
The tall woman lowers the small person,
The wide hand touches the small hand.

If I were the orange trees I would touch the sky,
I’m walking on sunshine and it feels so good.
The cross lifted the church, and the town praised the church

I just wish you would go to a mental hospital.

*I wrote this for a language class. it was just a bunch of random lines I thought of put together and tied up with the final line. It was fun and crazy to write, and it makes me laugh. So I hope it brightens your day too.*
