So I went and messed it up again
Lost all that made me happy
I learned from what I did wrong
So just please, oh please
Give me a second chance
To prove my new ways to you
I messed it up big time
And even though I don't deserve
The time of day or another shot
But trust me and you never know
This time might turn out better
Than the last could have ever been
And if it doesn't at least you gave
Me that one last shot
To prove my worth to you
