Like great balls of fire
Sparkling and shining in the night sky
Never failing to show up
Clear or cloudy
Joyous or depressed
They’re there through it all
Like the best friend you never had
They’ll be anything you make them
Friend or foe
Bright or dull
It’s funny that the most reliable things in the world
Only appear at night
And they can’t even talk back to you
When you decide to tell them everything
