The Sun Rise

Light flutters across the sky, I sit and watch and wonder why.

The darknes fade and stars dissapear, Making a blue summer sky so clear.

In the distance, i watch in awe, as the darkness around me begins to fall.

A faint line appears, then a heavenly glow, and the time has come for me to go home.

But i sit a little longer and i begin to think, how such a beautiful thing can fade so quick.

As i stand and take one last look at the view, i realize i'm standing here thinking of you.

I will never forget flying so high, I will never forget the day i watched the sun rise.
